3 killed in shooting at California elementary school, official says

Three people have been killed in a shooting at an elementary school in Tehama County Tuesday morning. The gunman was reportedly shot by police.

The investigators said that the shooting started a one location then moved to near Tehama Elementary School.

"At this point the suspected shooter is deceased by law enforcement bullets", Tehama County Assistant Sheriff Phil Johnston told reporters.

A 30-year-old man was also being taken to the hospital with a gunshot wound to the right thigh, according to emergency dispatch reports.

The doctor was identified as George Seese, 59, who received his undergraduate degree from Youngstown State University in 1980. He completed his cardiology fellowship at Deborah Heart and Lung Center in Brownsville, N.J., and returned to OH in 1992.

According to KRCR TV, a witness identified only as Tiffany, who operates the nearby Coffee Addiction Coffee Shop, said she heard about 90-100 shots fired.

All other students had been evacuated from the school, authorities said.

Police are investigating at least five crime scenes.
