She is married to retired hockey player Mike Fisher and is the mother of their 2-year-old son Isaiah.

A representative speaking on her behalf stated that "On Friday night, Carrie Underwood took a hard fall" on a staircase outside of her house. "She sustained multiple injuries including a broken wrist and some cuts and abrasions from the fall".

Her injury comes just days after she hosted the CMA Awards with Brad Paisley for a tenth consecutive year.

The singer's rep added that Fisher, 37, "was able to make it back into town that night to be with her and she was released from the hospital".

Venus and Jupiter will converge on the morning of 13 November
Venus is known as the brightest planet and it always follows up as the second one and will be "snuggling "with Jupiter". The actual conjunction (the point at which the planets are closest together in the sky) will happen at 1:05 a.m.

Since the news broke, Carrie has taken to social media to thank her fans for their well wishes.

A statement from an Underwood spokesperson says she will miss a benefit concert Sunday in Nashville for victims of the October 1 Las Vegas shooting and hurricanes in Florida, Texas, Puerto Rico and the Caribbean.

The tribute included photos of the 58 people killed in the Las Vegas shooting, creating an emotional moment that momentarily brought the singer's voice to a whisper. "I'll be alright...might just take some time", she wrote. "So much meaning behind it and You could feel the Lords presence!"
