NBA All-Star Game to be held in Chicago

According to The Vertical's Shams Charania, tomorrow's Bulls announcement at the United Center will reveal that Chicago has earned 2020 All-Star Weekend.

The person spoke on condition of anonymity because the decision wasn't announced publicly.

It will mark the third time that the National Basketball Association has brought the All-Star game to the West Side but the first to be played at the United Center. Jordan also won the second of his back-to-back dunk contest championships with his iconic slam from the free-throw line. The NHL last held its All-Star game in Chicago in 1991.

However, with the news of them hosting the NBA All-Star Game three years from now, it could lift their spirits and boost their confidence, which could lead to more inspired play in their upcoming games. Beginning this year, there will be no Eastern Conference vs. The captains will select from a pool of 22 other All-Stars.
