Concussion sidelines UCLA QB Josh Rosen

UCLA quarterback Josh Rosen won't play in Friday night's road game against Utah at Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City due to a concussion.

Rosen was on the sidelines for much of the second half of UCLA's Week 9 loss at Washington. This will be Modster's first career start.

An injury a year ago caused Rosen to miss the final six games of the season and the Bruins went just 1-5 during that time.

Marchionne even suggested that walking away from F1 would be a good thing for Ferrari's shareholders, as it would help boost the balance sheet.

UCLA traveled to Utah in Week 10 without its star quarterback. It's obvious that that is the injury Rosen sustained last week. He left midway through the third quarter and did not return. The Bruins should be commended for recognizing that Rosen's health is more important than turning their season around.

A concussion does not mean Rosen's season is over but with a future in the National Football League, one wonders if Rosen should try and come back at all.

It is likely that he received plenty of reps this week in practice as there was plenty of speculation surrounding the status of Rosen. "In all fairness to my comment, for a broadcaster to know zippo about what's going on there to question the toughness of Josh Rosen, like, I guess it drives ratings, I don't know". It is sad that with all the promise expected with Rosen's arrival it seems his legacy will be incomplete as UCLA Football Bruin.
