Michigan State Police say a collision between a buggy and a pickup truck has killed three children and critically injured six other people.
At approximately 8 a.m., Michigan State Police Troopers were dispatched to the scene of the accident on Condensary Road, east of the intersection of Condensary Road and Townhall Road in Sheridan.
Nine people were in the buggy.
The Daily News in Greenville reports the crash killed a 12-year-old boy, a 9-year-old girl and a 7-year-old boy who were riding in the buggy. The other six were hospitalized with life-threatening injuries.
The truck driver was not hurt but his pickup sustained extensive damage in the crash, which took place on a road near Sheridan village in central MI.

Scottsdale police say officers went to Maxwells home Saturday night after getting a call about a person with a gun. Maxwell previously claimed he was denied service at an Alabama restaurant because of his national anthem protest.
It is not now known if there were any seatbelts in the buggy.
Michigan State Police have started investigation into the accident.
