What Dwayne Johnson Wants To Do With His Fast And Furious Spinoff

"Just a quick little shoutout to Tyrese, his new album Black Rose, I just heard it, I literally just heard the whole thing in my trailer", Johnson says in a video ironically shared by Tyrese on Instagram.

Hot on the heels of the announcement that Fast & Furious 9 has been delayed until Easter 2020, Universal has set July 26, 2019, as the release date for the as yet untitled Hobbs and Shaw spin-off.

That didn't sit too well with Tyrese, even though he's only been in one more Fast & Furious movie than Johnson.

There was no immediate response from The Rock, probably because he's a busy guy.

Dramaaaa! Sadly, Tyrese seems to be alone in his opinion as Johnson refuses to apologize for securing a solo flick and Vin Diesel is seemingly on #TeamTheRock.

Tyrese had previously accused The Rock of "being selfish" over prioritizing the spinoff over the next "Fast and Furious" film. If you smell what The Rock ... ah, you know the rest. "It's because we announced and KEPT our release date bro".

Disney shelves huge following development woes
Yet, this is exactly what has happened with big , ex-Giants, the new film from Nathan Greno , director of the excellent Rapunzel . Next up for Disney Animation is Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2, which is set to hit theaters on November 21st, 2018.

But he denies being angry at the Baywatch star: 'Everybody's coming at me like I'm hating on Dwayne about his spinoff but I'm not'.

The official "Fast and Furious" social media channels confirmed the delay last week with a photo depicting "F9 April 19, 2020".

Daddy's gotta go back to work ~ Hobbs.

It's clear that Gibson's messages aren't working, at least not in the way that he probably wants them to, so he has taken his feud with Johnson a step further by digging up an old video of Johnson calling Gibson's 2015 "Black Rose" album the "biggest piece of dog s*** that I have ever heard". Maybe spinoffs of the spinoff are in the future of Fast and Furious. Huge shout to my brother, Jason Statham for the trust and wanting to create and deliver something fresh and bad ass for the fans.

Johnson also commented on the spinoff on Twitter writing, "My goal from day 1 was to come in and create an exciting/fun character for the fans, elevate the franchise and build it out. I just got a problem with Dwayne, it appears that he's being selfish, it appears that he's so focused on furthering his own self-interests". Smart business. Let's have some FUN and to quote, Hobbs the boss, if you don't like it, we're happy to beat that ass like a Cherokee drum. "My vision is to create greater opportunities for not only my fellow FF cast mates, but for other incredible actors as well who want to be a part of something new and cool". Johnson sees the film's universe expanding to other medium like television and virtual reality.
