The e-reader is already up for pre-orders in India and will start shipping from November 15. The newest model of the Kindle Oasis has a 7-inch display with a screen resolution of 300 ppi or pixels per inch. The Kindle Oasis is IPX8 rated, which means it should withstand immersion in over 1-metre of water.

Amazon's Kindle is finally water resistant, with the launch of the new larger 7in Kindle Oasis that merges ebooks and audiobooks into one device.

Amazon has announced a refresh for its most-advanced eReader, the Kindle Oasis, which will see the device gain IPX8 waterproofing.

The Oasis is available in two models, the 8GB with Wi-Fi support and the 32GB with cellular connectivity. It'll also feature fast-charging that Amazon say allows it to go from no battery to 100% in less than two hours.

The e-reader offers massive book selection, and over 30,000 free eBooks and 2 million paid eBooks.

The big new feature for the Oasis is the integration of Amazon's Audible audiobook service, the first time for a Kindle device, which allows readers to seamlessly switch between audiobooks and ebooks, maintaining their position in the story if they own both formats of a particular book using the Whispersync for Voice service. This new Kindle comes with a 7-inch display and also is the first waterproof model introduced by Amazon.

Mata became an important figure for United, and that remains the case now that he is working with Mourinho again. Jose Mourinho has insisted that Marouane Fellaini's injury problem is not a blow to Manchester United .

Amazon now offers a 4G model for the cellular variant in the United States, but in India the company will be offering a Wi-Fi + free 3G model.

The Kindle Oasis comes with Bluetooth connectivity to let you connect wireless headphones or speakers.

The 32GB (Wi-Fi + free 3G) version of new Kindle Oasis costs Rs. 28,999, while the base model which is without 3G capability and comes with 8GB of storage costs Rs. 21,999.

The tech giant also believes it can counter falling figures with improved durability and specifications, and said its new Kindle is the "most advanced ever".

Amazon is offering a pre-order bundle of the waterproof Kindle, which includes a power adapter and leather cover of your choice, along with the Kindle Oasis.
