Over the past two years, the 11-year-old and her family had grown close to the office manager at her school.

"[Jen Fisher] had called to tell me that everything had went well in court that day, that Jeff and her were going to adopt her and the rights were [removed] from the biological parents", Alexander said.

Alexander thought the moment was so lovely that she got Fisher's permission and shared the video on social media.

The Fishers had been Tannah's foster parents for two years.

So when the appropriation experienced last Monday, Tannah's mother given Jackie Alexander a chance to break the cheerful news. "I can't even describe that hug", said Alexander.

Tannah had her own message. In 12 years at this job, this is by far my best moment ever!

To tell a young lady that she gets her family always takes the cake.

"I had to let people know there's a lot going on in the world, a lot of sadness but you know what? There's joy that happens every day", she said.

"My heart was so happy", she said.

"I just grabbed her and I just said 'Honey, oh baby have you heard the news?' And she said 'What?' And I said 'You get your family".
