Roger Waters announces Hyde Park gig and United Kingdom tour


Waters took a break from the tour in 2013, but is now coming back with a bang - as Roger Waters has now been announced as the main headliner for the awesome British Summertime Festival in 2018.

The legendary figure will bring his "Us+Them" tour to the United Kingdom on June 29th in Glasgow, followed by dates in Liverpool and Manchester before arriving at Hyde Park on Friday July 6th then concluding at Birmingham Arena the following night.

It's barely been three months since the last BST Hyde Park event took place, but the headliner for next year's festival has already been announced as tickets prepare to go on sale this week.

Bringing the "Us + Them" show to London on July 6th, Roger Waters will delve into one of rock's pre-eminent catalogues, including his work with Floyd and new album 'Is This the Life We Really Want?'.

The new tour dates marks the musician's first return to Europe since 2013's The Wall Live world tour which was seen by more than 4 million fans at 219 shows and is the highest-grossing tour of all-time by a solo artist.

Tickets for BST Hyde Park 2018 are set to go on sale this Friday (October 6th 2017) at the price of £89.90 for general admission. "To see his live show on The Great Oak Stage providing a soundtrack of Pink Floyd's greatest hits will be a spectacle not to be missed".
