Hand was injured on a cut block against Ole Miss that Saban said was legal.
The Rebels have won two of the last three against the Tide and jumped out to a big lead against Alabama last season.
Alabama's 92.59 percent efficiency rate is the program's best mark under Saban. "They are a very explosive offensive team".
"I think a few times early on we started pretty well in a game but we kinda didn't sorta sustain it in the game", Saban said.
The Crimson Tide scored three times in almost 5 minutes of game action as Hurts found junior tight end Hale Hentges in the back of the end zone for a 3-yard touchdown two plays after a 60-yard catch-and-run between Hurts and senior receiver Cam Sims. Alabama had not scored 50-plus points in consecutive SEC games since 1945, and Saturday night marked the most points the Tide have racked up on the Rebels.

(Receiving) Calvin Ridley- four catches 60 yards. Quarterback Jalen Hurts is the Alabama's leading rusher with 360 yards, and three talented tailbacks (Damien Harris, Bo Scarbrough and Najee Harris) have combined for 486 yards. On the ensuing possession by Ole Miss, Levi Wallace intercepted Patterson and raced 35 yards for the score that opened the floodgates. He played just one series into the third quarter; he finished 12-of-19 for 197 yards and two TDs through the air, and rushed for a team-high 101 yards and a TD on 10 carries. There was a sense of relief for the University of Alabama defense on Saturday night.
