#9:15 AM: Total three BSF jawans and a policeman were injured.
Two militants were killed and four troopers injured after a terror attack. Reports state that an exchange of fire was going on between the terrorists and security forces when the incident occurred.
The militants are holed-up inside the building campus of the 182nd Battalion camp, officers said.
The area also houses training centres of the BSF and CRPF.
Local blood centers encouraging donations
They say continuously donating outside of crisis is important, because newly donated blood won't get to the victims immediately.
ANI news agency reported that few suspected militants have entered the 182bn of the Border Security Force (BSF) camp near the Srinagar Airport outside the Airforce station at Gogo Humhama in Srinagar.
Airports in metro cities across the country have been put on high alert.
#7:50 AM: The troops of CRPF, 53RR, BSF and SOG zonal QAT CRPF have placed a cordon around the building.
The camp is located just outside the worldwide airport in Srinagar - a heavily fortified area.
#6:34 AM: Following attack on BSF camp near Srinagar Airport, no employee or passenger or vehicle is being allowed to go towards the Airport. Flight services are however yet to resume and a final decision would be taken by the Airport Authority of India following a security clearance. School, which is located near the airport, will remain closed today, in light of the attack on the BSF camp.
